KCP courses have been approved for credit by this university, but it is up to each student to determine transferability of credit. During the first week of KCP classes, students are offered two grading options: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory or Audit. Note that for most study-abroad and transfer credits, choosing “Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory” will not affect a student’s cumulative GPA. Students choosing “Audit” will fully participate in the course but will not earn academic credit. Western Washington University will grant students 18 International Studies quarter credits for each language course and 4 International Studies quarter credits for the culture course. Credits will appear on the transcript as Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (which is different from Pass/Fail). To earn “Satisfactory,” students must earn a “C” or better, so must take their courses for a Grade. TranscriptsTranscripts are available about 30 days after the program ending date. The first copy of your transcript is free. For students who have completed the program, if you would like to receive another transcript, please visit this link: http://www.wwu.edu/depts/registrar/transcripts.shtml |
