Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I rather liked the sense of community that the culture class trips generated.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I felt that the focus on conversation in class was quite valuable. Good teachers and helpful staff too. The least productive... Nothing really comes to mind.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

Probably audio practice helped me the most.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

The sense of community that being in the course garnered. Also going around and seeing interesting places was a lot of fun too, as was the instructor's knowledgeability.

Testimonials

KCP is a wonderful program for those looking to, 1) see their Japanese abilities exponentially grow, and 2) to experience the culture hands-on. It’s also a program for those who don’t simply seek to party either. The program’s rigorous and demands attention to your school work, health, and managing time in between. Basically, you live, eat, and breathe a Japanese lifestyle. It’s great.
