It is intensive and fast paced.

Brittany from Spring 2016

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

バス旅行がとても楽しかったです。毎日クラスがおもしろかった。

Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?

I really appreciated the English Support Classes.

What were your goals in attending the KCP program?

To reach a level of fluency that will allow me to work comfortable in Japanese.

Why did you select this program?

It is intensive and fast paced. Just in these three months alone we have covered about the same material covered in nine months of classes back home. At this point I am learning new material that I never got to back home in my classes.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I really appreciate the homework honestly, I do not like having to come up with 会話 sentences for homework but it does really make me think and apply what I am learning in class. I also appreciate the in class reading aloud of vocabulary or sentences, I find even then that the more we do it in class the easier it gets for me to speak.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

I appreciated the hand outs provided in class and then the after class excursions were a lot of fun to do!

Where did you reside over the course of this program?

Dormitory

Where did you live?

池袋

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I actually really like where I am currently and have enjoyed myself in the dorms immensely. I may have gotten lucky coming here when I did too because the people I co-exist here with are fantastic and I am very happy to have met and gotten to know these people here. G-man does a great job of taking care of this place and has been very helpful when I needed it.

Testimonials

I selected this program because it allows me to use my student loans to attend, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to have this experience. I also wanted a challenge and to improve my fluency as fast as possible. The pace at KCP is challenging but helps me focus.
