Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I enjoyed the trip to Yamanashi, I thought we went to some very interesting places and learned a lot about Japanese culture during it.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I thought the most interesting and productive aspect of the program was the large amount of group work that allowed me to meet many people from different countries.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found the pair work to be the most helpful.

Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?

I think that spending a bit more time on how to construct original conversations based on the units would be very helpful.

Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?

I would suggest using Japanese as much as you can because studying at KCP is a unique opportunity to be able to speak Japanese in all aspects of your life.

Testimonials

KCP is a wonderful program for those looking to, 1) see their Japanese abilities exponentially grow, and 2) to experience the culture hands-on. It’s also a program for those who don’t simply seek to party either. The program’s rigorous and demands attention to your school work, health, and managing time in between. Basically, you live, eat, and breathe a Japanese lifestyle. It’s great.
