Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I am overwhelmingly pleased with the dorm. While it is fairly far from the school, the dorm manager has been extremely kind and generous with all of us here, holding parties and interacting with us whenever we see him. No issues ever came up.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

Use the Japanese you learn everyday. There's no point in coming to Japan and not using the grammar and vocab with those who around you, whether they be international students or Japanese people you see everyday. It's a great opportunity to use what you learn while also making social connections with those around you.

If you’re looking for an intensive course, then KCP is the place to go! Although it was hard work, it was also a lot of fun and I’m very pleased with my current language skill – and I’ve only just finished Level 1! Going out with the class for a final dinner really showed me how much we’d learnt as we had no problems in conveying our feelings even though our only common language was Japanese. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
