The school BBQ was most enjoyable. I was really able to have fun and relax with my classmates while getting to know them better all while using Japanese to communicate.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
I find that pair work, group sessions and drill practice works best for me in memorization. I learn best while speaking and listening rather than reading and writing.
