I really felt my Japanese proficiency increase. I also liked the scheduling because it gave me plenty of free time after class.

Tanaka先生 is a very knowledgeable and fun to talk to, and it was nice to have an opportunity to talk to other English speakers.

I am thankful I did because now I have people who will be waiting for me when I come back.

I also got to trip the peaches as well as see the Edo style village which was very fascinating.

Specifically, the pair work where partners rotated around the room. While it was quite nerve-racking in general, I found my speaking abilities grew a lot because of it.

Make friends with the international students and hang out with them. It’s really helps you use your Japanese.

I liked the tea ceremony because I have never tried true matcha tea before, and it was cool to see how it was made.

I enjoyed that most of the students in my class were not from the same country and that there was somewhat of a language barrier if you didn’t know the words in Japanese.

I enjoyed learning about cultural spots in Japan with the guidance of my teachers and friends surrounding me.

I would suggest using Japanese as much as you can because studying at KCP is a unique opportunity to be able to speak Japanese in all aspects of your life.
